Fact: Identity theft not only happens online and on your personal devices but can also happen in person, such as driver’s licenses, credit cards, etc.

Fact: Not all identity theft happens with documents.  Cyber theft is stealing of your information online.

Myth: Identity theft does not affect children
Fact: Your child’s social security number is a prime target.  They don’t have credit history, so it is easier for a theft to use.
